A $250 CLEANING FEE WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR PAYMENT METHOD ON FILE IF THERE IS ANY MESS THAT NEEDS PROFESSIONAL CLEANING. CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGE INCURRED WILLFULLY OR DUE TO NEGLIGENCE.
The driver reserves the right to end the ride at any time if they feel their passengers or their safety is in question, or if someone is being belligerent. If the driver has to do this, you will receive a refund of the remaining time on your ride if billed hourly, or HALF (50%) of your total booking fee if billed on flat-rate, minus a $50.00 Fee charged to your method of payment on file.
All rides are video and audio recorded by dash cam for everyone's safety. Recordings are on a 24 hour loop and, unless a safety-related incident occurs, are deleted after your ride is completed.
We operate on a first-come, first-served basis with regards to the schedule.
Currently all reservations will require a valid debit or credit card to be kept on file for the confirmation of the booking. If your selected payment method is "CREDIT CARD", "VISA", "DISCOVER", or "AMERICAN EXPRESS", your card will not be charged until after your ride is complete, unless you cancel or modify your reservation less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to your pickup time. If your selected payment method is "CASH", "CREDIT CARD OFFLINE", or "OTHER", your card will be charged a $50.00 Deposit at the time of booking. See below for more information.
CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS
Cancellations and/or Modifications to your reservation can be made for free up to forty-eight (48) hours prior to your pickup time. After 48 hours, a $50.00 Late Change Fee or $50.00 Cancellation Fee will be charged to your card on file.
We accept all major credit and debit cards online and in the vehicle. We accept most any form of payment EXCEPT check or money order. We also accept Cash App, Venmo, and Zelle. For CASH customers, a $50.00 Deposit is required charged to a major credit or debit card. See above for details on deposits, cancellations, and modifications.
If your reservation is a trip TO or FROM DTW (Detroit Metropolitan Airport) or a location in the immediate vicinity of DTW (Airport Hotels, Rental Cars, Private FBOs, etc), there are Flat Rates for every city within ten (10) counties immediately surrounding Metro Detroit. Visit our website to view our current Flat Rate Price List. Please note there is a $10.00 Pickup Fee for PICKUPS at DTW.
If your reservation is NOT a trip TO or FROM DTW or a location in the immediate vicinity of DTW (Airport Hotels, Rental Car Agencies, Private FBOs, etc), it will be billed hourly. ALL non-DTW reservations are billed hourly. Our current hourly rates are $75.00 per hour, with a three (3) hour minimum booking. If you require a booking lasting longer than 8 hours, please be aware overtime rates begin after 8 hours. Any time billed after 8 hours will be $125.00 per hour, with a maximum 12 consecutive hours in one reservation.
EARLY PICKUP
For any reservation with a pickup time between 12:00 Midnight - 5:00 AM EST, there is an additional $20.00 Early Pickup Fee.
EXTRA STOPS
There is an additional $20.00 charge for Extra Stops between your Pickup and Final Drop-off locations. If management determines your stop is too far off-route or out of the way of your Final Destination, additional fees may apply. A good rule of thumb is, if the stop would be generally considered to be "on the way" to your Final Destination, there will not be any additional fees over and above the $20.00 Extra Stop Fee.
We do NOT charge per passenger, per mile, or for additional passengers or luggage.
KMV Transportation LLC is not responsible for any damage or loss of personal items brought into the vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to: Clothing, Purses/Bags, Wallets, Phones, Tablets, Luggage, or anything else left in the vehicle not covered in this agreement.
SMS (Text Messaging) Terms of Service
By opting into SMS from a web form or other medium, you are agreeing to receive SMS messages from KMV Transportation LLC. This includes SMS messages for Account Notifications and Verifications, Reservation Confirmations and Notifications, Driver Tracking URLs, Passenger Surveys, Marketing or Promotional material, and Driver & Passenger Communication. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. For assistance, Message "HELP" for help or visit our website at: https://www.kmvtransportation.com. Reply "STOP" to any message to opt out of all SMS communication.
If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from the Company, you may opt out of such communications by Clicking the "UNSUBSCRIBE" button in the email, or replying "STOP" to an SMS text message.
The Company does not sell or share SMS opt-in consent with ANY third parties or affiliates for any reason.
If a client is booking transportation in a destination city through a KMV Transportation, LLC Affiliate, or locally through an Affiliate, the client hereby agrees to any Affiliate's rental agreement, terms and conditions, and privacy policy. KMV Transportation, LLC is not liable for any damages or loss caused by an Affiliate. If an Affiliate is booked on a reservation, copies of that Affiliate's contracts and policy documents will be attached to their booking confirmation email.
